'Sound Check' or other music normalisation in RockBox?
peanutismint:
I've just started using RockBox on my 3G iPod and am loving it, but can't seem to find an option to normalise my music on the go... I found the 'Sound Check' function very useful on the iPod for when I'm not listening to albums and all my MP3s are at different levels. Is there such a thing in RB? Or even a plugin which achieves the same effect?
RowaN:
Rockbox supports ReplayGain.. although I'm not sure if the iPod port does.. I cant seem to find anything about it in the iPod manual at time of writing. Saying that, I cant see it in the Sansa Rockbox port manual either, and that definately supports it because I use it. Look in the sound settings menu.
Llorean:
Replaygain works on all software codec targets.
peanutismint:
Not in mine - I get Volume, Bass, Treble, Stereo Width, CrossFade, Dithering etc... no 'ReplayGain'...? Is it something I'd have to add myself manually?
Llorean:
Try the "Playback" menu, rather than Sound Settings, since it's only used for music playback.
