Rockbox-ipod, showing maximum of 1000mah after 1200mah battery upgrade
« on: August 18, 2007, 06:43:59 AM »
title says it all really, i did search the forums, but seemingly all slightly different to my problem

ipod photo, which when i installed rockbox on had its stock battery, which is 700mah i think, anyway i installed the new 1200mah, and went to change this setting to reflect new capacity in the battery settings, and it only allows me to go upto 1000mah, is there any way i can get this to allow me a higher option, any config files i can tinker with?

thanks for any pointers

I wouldn't worry.  This value is only used for runtime estimation (i.e. 10hrs left), and doesn't work properly on iPod at the moment anyway.

It doesn't affect how long your battery will last, or the percentage readout.

oh ok, thats fair enough then, i didnt know it wasnt working properly on ipod, it always seemed to be ok-ish

yeah i know it doesnt affect the battery physically, just wanted it to give an accurate guestimation on battery runtime left. nay bother - cheers for the info.  :)
