Transferring songs
« on: August 17, 2007, 08:19:52 PM »
I have had rockbox for a while now, but have been listening to my music with the original OS. But I have not found out a way to switch all of my songs to rockbox, without doing it one by one. Is there a way to do a minimal-step transfer of all of my songs in my itunes library to my Ipod? (I have a nano.) And will rockbox play my aac files? Or do I have to convert all of my songs. If I do, how could I convert them all at once?

Huh?  Why don't you initialize your database and use that to browse the music?

Here's the current status of the codecs that Rockbox supports: twiki:SoundCodecs
