Button Issues with Archos Jukebox Recorder v1
(1/1)
LambdaCalculus:
Greetings, my most excellent friends. I'm having a wee bit of a problem with my Archos Jukebox Recorder.
The Recoder starts up just fine, plays perfectly, charges perfectly, and is flashed with Rockbox permanently; currently it's using SVN build r14373-070816. Everything works as it should be, except for the Function keys. Specifically, the F2 key on my Recoder v1, when I press it, registers as the Up key.
What I don't understand is that all of the buttons are seated correctly, and I opened it up to verify it. This makes it sometimes highly annoying to work with many of the features of Rockbox, and is defeating the purpose of having file management functions built in, since I can't confirm the creation or renaming of folders or config files.
Does anyone know of a way to seat all of the button parts into the front cover so that I can properly press each key and get the desired function? I really don't want to resort to having to connect to a computer each time I need to create a file, and it's also bloody annoying when I can't create a config for recording settings.
EDIT ON 18 AUGUST 2007: I fixed it. I put the 4-way buttons in upside-down by mistake. I'm locking this thread.
