Gigabeat's max *clear* volume
« on: August 16, 2007, 10:01:43 PM »
I have searched for this and I don't want to "stir the pot", but I have an honest inquiry.

What is the "maximum [Gigabeat F40] volume that the player can produce without possible distortion"?  (brackets added)

I know that it might depend on the gain in the MP3 file and the ear phones used and all that, but is there a range that can be expected at 0%db?

Thx.

Really, there is no answer to this besides "line level" which is 0 on the volume indicator.
