Gain Adjustments or Level Meter for iPod

I know that Febs posted an opinion on this question here:

I'm wondering if any users or developers can definitively confirm whether there is a gain control or a level meter for recording available on Rockbox for iPod.

Probably the reason that you haven't gotten any responses is that nothing has changed since my post in the thread you link to.

Understandable, Febs. Thanks for weiging in.

I'm glad that you posted about it before, or we'd have nothing to go on. It just seemed to me in your post that you might not be fully certain whether iPods had access to a gain control with Rockbox. I'm holding out hope that someone who has had direct experience might know different. But if you know for certain, just let me know, and I'll call off my search. Thanks again.
