WPS / Theme while recording?

I'm reading about the posibilities of writing replacement WPS files and Themes for use during playback. However, is it also possible to replace the default screen display during recording, as I can't seem to find any tag details specifically for the recording options/setup?
Any pointer to a document, or tag list, or examples would be appreciated.
I have tried loading various Themes, but none of them affect the recording screen layout.

This feature is not yet implemented, you can only customize the WPS, RemoteWPS and Menus (Background, Icons, Font)

I know there's an open tracker in Flyspray for a WPS for the FM Radio on the targets that support it. But I never saw one for the WRS, unless maybe I overlooked it...

Does this mean there's no way of even increasing the font size during recording? (I ask as someone who needs longer arms these days to see the text properly !!)

You can use the multifont patch. i think the REP might have something like that as well.
