Flashing with defective display

Hello.

I am using my Archos Player in an embedded environment, where is no need to use the build-in display. My Archos Player has a defective display, no output at all is shown. But the application is still working.

My problem is, that I have to update the firmware now. But without display it is like a blind flight.

Has anybody an idea, how to handle this?

Is there some kind of emulation or remote controlling archos over USB?

I allready tried to make update in blind flight, but I don't see, what the "rockbox.ucl" program asks me. Maybe somebody can describe the dialogs and the corresponding button presses.

I do remember there being a blind guide to flashing, however I do not know how current it is.
