backdrop is gone when i boot up rockbox

  I have made some of my own backdrops. when i set them as the backdrop everything is fine and the backdrop is set.

but when im done with my ipod and turn it off to save battery. when i turn it back on the theme is gone just a blank background i have to reset the pic i want as the backdrop.

how do i fix this?

How are you turning it off?

Try deleting the file /.rockbox/config.cfg.

are the backdrops in the .rockbox/backdrops/ directory? And how long are the filenames?

holding the play button till it turns off. or if it sets for two minutes it turns off automatically. i set it for two minutes to save bat

i tried febs idea and deleted  .rockbox/config.cfg

now it when it boots up still dont have the backdrop i set but the screen is not blank it is the backdrop to the theme i have set.

same prob differnt backdrop when booted up

fyi          i dont save my costom backdrops in the .rockbox/backdrops folder
instead i save my costum ones on the root folder called rockbox costom backdrops    come to think of it that could be the prob could it?
