Queue current track's album, Skip Album, Rewind Album patch
yegods:
thanks, i'll see if i can get it to work with my double-click code. Â maybe if it works with the queue album code, then i can disable the skip album, and use the file tree directory skip instead.
[edited to add...]
i found the next directory code. it is hacked into the gwps action parser. in effect it is a double-click, but not built into the button code, or action code. i think my solution is much more elegant. but it is probably interferring with the next directory function. i'll see what i can do about modifying it.
Llorean:
I asked you the double click patch interfering with the short-long press earlier, and you said it didn't. Thank you very much for actually investigating before you gave me that answer back then...

whew... i'm trying to be nice here, but almost everything you say comes off slightly hostile. i'm working with new code here -- not claiming to be an expert. i was pretty excited to be able to implement the features i did, and that they actually solved my problems -- so i posted here, in case others were having the same or similar problems.
at the time i answered you before, i couldn't see any reason for the double-click to interfere with the other clicks. i'm still not positive it does. however, that has nothing to do with the ideas behind this new feature. it could just as easily be done with other click types.
Llorean:
I admit I came off a bit hostile. But I feel rather strongly that if someone asks you whether your patch interferes with a specific feature that you should at the very least test it with that feature before answering, rather than making an assumption. Especially if it's a feature you didn't know before that point existed.

i'm now testing a fix for that patch, that will not interfere with the other type of clicks. it will also introduce a setting to change the double click delay.
