Playing Music (only playing an album then stopping)
« on: August 13, 2007, 11:50:48 AM »
Hi Everyone,

Installed Rockbox fine and all my music but when i try to play the music files it will only play them individually ie if i try to play randomly it will play one album then when finished playing that album it will just stop will not switch to any other music.  All my tracks are in the music folder and within that is each individual artist folder - is this wrong should they not be in folders within the music folder and if so how do i change that?

I've just found the manual and having a quick look at it - it says you need to create a playlist of all the tracks before you can listen via shuffle, do i just need to copy all the music folder and put in the playlist folder then delete everything in the music folder?

Installed Rockbox fine

Which means that this should not be posted in the "Toshiba - Installation/Removal" forum.  I will move it for you.

No.  You can create a playlist of all files on your player by selecting "playlists" from the Main Menu and then selecting "Create Playlist."   (You will need to have the "Recusively Insert Directories" setting turned on to include subfolders in the playlist you create.  There are several other ways to create playlists as well, and these are described in the manual.  I suggest you take a closer look and then report back if you have further questions.
