Avoiding margins on WPS
« on: August 13, 2007, 11:33:31 AM »
Hi all,

I hadn't updated my build for a long while and did so yesterday. I'm using PaulJam's PJ_Ice WPS. Since yesterday's update all the text is moved one line below, so it's all misaligned. The tag %wd (no statusbar) is set, but it still sets a one line margin in the top.  If I delete the first line of the WPS, it's aligned again, but I miss a line.

I have traced the problem to this patch, in which a top margin for the statusbar is added (This may not be the cause, I don't know how screens.c works).

Is there a way in the WPS to unset he margins?

Thanks,

vzabalza

EDIT: A few info I forgot: it's a H300 with darky's build (patches Album Art, Customline, Multifont Complete, Scrolling Margins, Ymargin Scrollinfo among others)

If you're using a custom build then you need to ask for help in the unsupported builds forum.

As Chronon says, you're using an unsupported build, with unsupported patches in it - so this isn't the right place to ask for help.

However, unless I'm blind, I can't see a "darky's build" in our unsupported builds forum either - so this doesn't belong there either. You'll have to go and ask "darky" whoever he is, and wherever he hosts this build.

Look here for a fixed version of this WPS.

Look here for details of Darky's build for the H3x0.

Haha, not only an unsupported build, but not even one from the rockbox forums!
