Delete the current selection?
(1/1)
dstromberg:
Is there a "delete the currently selected audio file" option?
I know I can go to files, and hold down the selection button for a while to get a menu that includes a delete option, but I'd rather not have to go find a title under FILES to delete a podcast I've just finished before being able to delete it from my iaudio X5.
Thanks!

No, but you can do the following:
Go to the Main Menu, highlight "Files" and then open the Context Menu (it depends on your player how you do that - it seems you have to hold Select). Then select "Follow Playlist" -> "Yes".
Now the File Browser will follow you playlist which means it automatically selects the currently playing file. You don't have to go look for the file anymore before you can delete it.

In contrast to Vortex's answer, yes you can.
The currently playing file can be deleted while it is still playing and provided the remaining bit of the track has been buffered, you will still hear the end of it.
Track can be deleted from the WPS context menu.
