hey guys im completely new to this so be easy on me. i have a mac formatted 5gen ipod that has podzilla and ilaunch on it. i really wanted rockbox for the games and stuff. i have no idea what im doing with the instalation of it onto my ipod. i would like to have it show up as a choice in my iPL loader 2.5 . if someone could pease help me out that would be great thanks

The manual includes instructions for a mac. If you have specific questions, say something like "The manual says to do this, but I don't know what it means."

sorry but the manual doesn seem to teach anything. i feel like im missing something. theres one page called installation in the pdf and it talk about things that i will need. then it skips ahead to quick start. am i missing pieces of the download or something?

It's not a tutorial. It's not there to "teach" but it does contain specific instructions for how to install. Please read it careful, and as I said, ask more specific questions. Where *exactly* does it end, before it skips to how to use the software for example?

There is definitely a bootloader installation from Mac OSX section in the manual, I've just checked.

Darn. This is so odd. In the bootloader part it goes in this order: Windows, Linux and then Speech support.

I'm suprised  Llorean left this thread open as long as he did, since we do not support Loader 2 here.  Look in the unsupported builds forum for the thread dedicated to Loader 2.
