Hi!

I just installed Rockbox in my iPod video, its cool!

But I got a problem when I tried to connect it to my car radio,
the radio can control the iPod (I can select the musics by the radio) with the apple firmware,
but when I installed Rockbox, the radio cant control the iPod, I need to control the iPod with the iPod buttons.

My car radio is a Pioneer.

Do you know if there is any patch, or option to solve that?

Thanks!

Bruno

Mad Cow:
Nothing so far. It's a well-known issue.

gnu:
The apple accesoir protocol (or something like that) hasn't been implemented yet.

Chronon:
I believe that the major hurdle is the lack of a USB driver.  IPL's wiki has a fair amount of information on the Apple Accessory Protocol.

It's not, the accessory protocol uses a serial connection more or less, it's just that nobody wants to work on it.
