Installing DOOM

i am having trouble installing Doom and ive looked everywhere for help but cant find any. Could someone give me steps or help me.

i did but im not sure if i make a folder where you find the notes and contacts on the iPod
and also i cant put any / or \ or. down

I'm sorry but I can't make any sense whatsoever of that post.

Find the /.rockbox directory on your player.  Create a subdirectory called "doom."

Yes. Both "folder" and "Directory" are common terms referring to the same thing.

You do exactly what the manual says. Please stop asking people to reword it. If something in the manual is unclear, say "The manual says to do (whatever is in the manual) but I don't understand (the part you don't understand)" rather than simply not going back and rereading it.

FEBS

First i went into my iPod from My Computer Second i double clicked .rockbox to bring me into view of all these files : wps, rocks, ect. third i made a new file and named it DOOM i then saved the .wad file of doom i foud on the Rockbox site fourth and final step i unplugged my iPod Video and tried to play doom on my pluggins and it says, " Loading.................
Missing WAD"

thats all it does can you help me and tell me what i might have done wrong?
