Cue file problem with Ipod 5.5G
(1/1)
Chomite:
Hello, I'm just having a little problem with a cue file to play flac with my rockboxed Ipod. I have a flac file and cue file in a same folder and placed in my Ipod driver. I enabled my cuesheet support" and rebooted. I went to file browser and opened a cue file and it displayed a list of tracks but when I click on it, it does not play. I can click on .flac file and play it just fine, so I'm sure it's not the flac file problem.

Your cue sheet is o.k. Ensure that your cue sheet has the same name as your flac file except the extension.

You can only jump to the selected track in the cue sheet browser if the corresponding audio file is playing, otherwise it won't happen anything.

Ah! It works now, great! ;D
It appears that I didn't play flac file first, how stupid of me. It's my first time using flac(I been only using MP3s via iTune). I heard about some great things about other formats such as flac and ogg but I don't really think it's worth it.
Right now I'm converting all ogg files to MP3 in order to sort them out in iTunes(great music organizer, easy Id3 and so on.)
Thank you very much.
