Ipod Video 60gb Crashes
(1/1)
gotenksblade:
Hello, recently i connected my Ipod to my computer and the computer just crashed. Everything went still and nothing worked until i disconnected the ipod again. A quick message flashed up about rebooting ipod with Itunes but Itunes no longer works on my computer (due to uncolvable problem). Please could i have some advice on what to do. Oh and by the way I tried my Ipod on a different computer and it worked perfectly. Thanks in advance, Euan
Febs:
1. Please read our posting guidelines and include the information that we require (such as the revision number of the Rockbox build that you are using).
2. The fact that your iPod works fine on one computer but not on another suggests that whatever problem you are having relates to that computer, and not to Rockbox.

I'm using the most recent version ( as I believed would be presumed ) Anyway thanks for your quick reply and uhmm... helpful comment and glad to see that the staff are genuinely nice guys
Febs:
Again, if you read our posting guidelines, you will see that the "most recent version" is not presumed, nor would it be possible to infer you mean by that. By way of example, between the time of your first post in this thread and your most recent post, there were five versions.
In any event, can you replicate the problem if you reconnect your iPod to the computer that had trouble? What happens if you put the iPod in disk mode before connecting?
