My Themes Don't Change the View of the Music Playback Screen
(1/1)
Mr. Poppalopolis:
Hey, I just got RockBox, and I love it, but The themes don't work right. I've tried many different themes, but none work right. It changes the backdrops and the colors, but when I go to listen to music, it's still the default screen. So basically, themes only change the colors and the backdrop, and nothing else. Does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?
Llorean:
This happens if the theme is not compatible with the build you're using (either it's outdated, or it requires patches). The theme page should tell you if it requires a custom build or patches.
Mr. Poppalopolis:
Thanks, but where do I find it. Is it on the theme web page, or in a file? Aslo, will I need to reinstall RockBox, or just update it with a patch?
Llorean:
I don't know what you mean by "It" when you say "Where do I find it". If you mean "a build that includes the necessary patches" you'll either need to use one from the unsupported build forum, or compile your own.
Mr. Poppalopolis:
I meant whether it needs patches, and I fount the theme page, and I downloadedn senab's build, so it's initializing the database now. Thanks for your help. The theme works now. Thanks for your help with it.
