Hello.

I use RockBox happily and I'd like to improve the localization for the russian language.
Where should I start, in short? I can: compile, navigate in source, edit unicode, understand what I do.

I've searched, but it seems I'm slightly dumb.

it describes how to create and update Language files.

and then how to submit? Do I need SVN login?

Put it up on flyspray as a patch (see the patch link on the left hand side of this screen).

Then get into IRC and bug a developer to commit it for you.
