Disc number in WPS?
« on: August 03, 2007, 10:27:28 AM »
Is there a command for this in the WPS yet? It may be handy to use this in conjunction with the track number.

If I read the in the commit mentioned flyspray entry and the diff correctly, it comes with a wps tag you can use...

"ik" for the current track's disknumber,
"Ik" for the next track's disknumber (as usual).

Though I haven't tried because I don't use a disknumber tag anywhere. If I knew that it works, I would update the CustomWPS wiki page.

Can only integers be present in the tag or can text be present as well (and does the DB sort on integer or text?)?

Update: My WPS doesn't seem to work at all (as of version r14172M-070804; default is displayed upon this change). I'm using the following WPS:

Code: [Select]
%s%ac%?ia<%ia%?ic< (%ic)>>
%s%ac%?it<%it>
%s%ac%?id<%?iA<%iA - |>%?iy<%iy - |>%id%?in< - <%?ik<%ik-|>%in>>
%al%pp/%pe %ar%pc/%pt
%s%ac%fc - %fb kbps%?fv< (avg)|> - %ff Hz - %fs kiB
%pb
%pm

The added part is
Quote
<%?ik<%ik-|>
.

I'm guessing this was ignored because I added a < before the %?ik part, making the whole WPS invalid?

Sounds likely. If you want to display a "<" or ">", use "%<" or "%>".

I certainly didn't want to display a < or >. ;-)
