e200 / USB connection takes two tries?

How is the Sansa e200 USB connection supposed to work?

The first time I connect via usb, it boots up into the OF, but isn't recognized as a drive by my PC. I then, while in the OF, reconnect the cable again and then the PC recognizes the Sansa.  

I sync files every day, so this 'double connect' gets to be annoying.

Had the same problem. The solution was to boot to the orig sansa softwear. (holding down the left button while powering up). The problem goes away. When you unplug the sansa it will boot back to RB.

you have to boot into the original firmware to sync files. The rockbox usb for the sansa does nothing but recognize that a cable has been plugged in.

The point is that plugging it in, makes it boot with Sansa software.. but the PC doesn't recognize it at that time.. I then disconnect and reconnect and it's recognized.

When I plug in the USB cable the unit is already on and booted to the original sansa software. It I plug it in without turning it on first then it boots to RB which my PC does not recognize and I would then have to unplug and then plug it in again. Making sure that it boots to the original sansa software.

well why dont you boot into the sansa firmware the first time then?
