Mpeg player plugin: Undefined instruction at EA000004 (ipod nano)

I'm wondering if anyone has any insight into this little issue i discovered when reading http://forums.rockbox.org/index.php?topic=11504.0
oddly enough I didnt seem to have much in the way of the reported issues in the problem build range ("13763 until 13990").  But I did have some problems with mpeg plugin, in the newer builds. Thinking this wasn't related, I made this thread to see if anyone has similar problems.

Basicaly I load a movie, if it loads I close it and open another one (or the same one), repeat. After a bit (usually the 1st or 2nd try) I'll get an error, either "Prefetch abort at C0EDBABE", or "Undefined instruction at EA000004". Below Ive tested various archived builds. the problem seems to start at Version: r14048-070729, but, of course, it could be earlier since the archived builds dont include ALL past builds.

Tested using my own encoded mpeg movies, as well as the elephants dream sample file (to be sure it wasn't an encoding error on my part). BTW I have apple OS version 1.1 in case thats relevent.

what target? and can you try with the latest version? r14098 just finished compiling

oh, im sorry! I can't believe i forgot that. It's a 1st gen ipod nano 4gb (black) apple OS 1.1

ok, loaded the newest build (Version: r14107-070731) and my first try loading elephant's dream I got "Undefined instruction at EA000004"

Yes. In the first few tests, I tried MP3s at various bitrates, flac, and vorbis files, as well as doom and rockboy. those all worked just fine so i quit testing them. Thats the reason i made a new thread aside from the other one (http://forums.rockbox.org/index.php?topic=11504.0), it didnt seem to be the same problem.

ok, well i just tryed elephants dream on my nano twice and didnt get any panincing.

I dont play the full video, I start playback and then quit the plugin once the video starts, then start the file again. After a few tries (somewhat sporadic, sometimes 1st load sometimes 2nd 3rd 4th or 5th...usually within the first 4 tries) I get the message.

Since in the other thread concerning the nano, the apple version mattered, what version is your nano?

1.1.1, i cant see how the ipod version makes any difference.
hmm... wtf? just rebooted out of the OF and first try i got the panic! had to load it about 6 times after reboot to get the crash. bugger this is going to be no fun debugging
