Any .wad file that works with the real Doom.exe or Doom2.exe should work with Rockdoom.

Yes, and I answered that. Clearly Doom2.wad works with Doom2.exe, otherwise how would you play the game?

I think he's asking about getting the actual doom2.exe game on his sansa. Not RockDoom, but the actual Doom game. I'm not sure if there is much of a difference between the 2, and I don't think you can do that.

Rockdoom is compiled from a port that was written from the official Doom source. For all intents and purposes it can be considered the "actual" Doom. What will affect how the game looks is which .wad file you use. If you use one from a copy of Doom bought in a store, you'll get "normal" Doom.

The Doom WAD is all of the needed data (graphics, sound, music, levels, etc.).
