Rockdoom is compiled from a port that was written from the official Doom source. For all intents and purposes it can be considered the "actual" Doom. What will affect how the game looks is which .wad file you use. If you use one from a copy of Doom bought in a store, you'll get "normal" Doom.

ok so the doom in the store (shareware) will work?

The wad file from it will, yes.

wait so will that be just the levels or the real doom graphics also??

The Doom WAD is all of the needed data (graphics, sound, music, levels, etc.).
