BOOT LOADER NOT WORKING iPOD NANO

When I use the bootloader I installed from ROCKBOX it pops up and says there is no iPOD to be found make sure its plugged in and Disk MOde is on. Funny thing is is that the iPOD is plugged in and the disk mode is on. Before uploading the bootloader I installed a fonts package into my Nano. I'm kinda new at editing your iPOD's software but I did previously download ROCKBOX onto my iPod mini. I know the basics so I would appreciate if someone could please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you saying "ipodpatcher is not working" because the bootloader is the program that ipodpatcher installs, not ipodpatcher itself.

As for that message, assuming it's ipodpatcher, what operating system are you on and which type of iPod Nano is in (1st or 2nd generation)?

Im so sorry to have you waste your time on me I just figured out the problem i have a 2nd gen iPOD
Out of curiosity how would you load a bootloader if there isnt one for the 2nd gen nano

Rockbox doesn't run on the 2nd Gen Nano, that's why it's not listed on the front page of the site as supported.
