Computer Display
« on: July 30, 2007, 03:45:27 PM »
Lately, the only use for my iPod is a mini hard drive for music and media, and that works great. Rockbox served me well for the period I used it, but I was wondering if I could somehow use the LCD screen for computer display. For example, recording various computer stats, display temperatures, open programs.... I don't know what else to ask for at the moment, but you get the idea. Basically this is turning it into a self powered Logitech G15. What would I have to do to the firmware to get the computer to use the iPod's LCD screen? Does something like this exist already?

No - it can't be done using Rockbox.
