WPS tags don't refresh/update when in If, Else statements

On my player the build is 3 days old. Tested it on the simulator with the latest build.

%al%?ia<%s %ia| %d1%ar%pc\%pt >
-- check for Artist tag. If it's there display it otherwise display the current directory & the current time in the song/total track time.

The current time in the song(%pc) doesn't increment. Only when I reload the theme or turn the player off/on does it show the current time but doesn't increment.

Is this a bug or just the way it is? Thank you.

I think the problem here isn't the conditional but that there is a scrolling line tag in the code (which applies to the whole line, I believe). You could try what happens when you remove that '%s' tag from your code.

There already is a bug report for it (http://www.rockbox.org/tracker/task/7006).

Holy crap you're right.
Removed the %s and it works. Kinda screws me though... it's just weird cause I removed it in the If part and it effect tags in the Else part. Alright thank you.
