2) Where are you trying to get the manual from? How did you install Rockbox without use of the manual?

3) If you were looking at the right page, you'd realize there are multiple versions of the manual (one for each player) and yet you haven't specified which version you need.

What *exactly* happens when you click on the link, and which link *exactly* are you clicking on? I need more specific answers to be able to understand what's going on.

i was talking to another person like yourself, i advised him that i am unable to view the manual. when i click the pdf link for the ipod 30g adobe appears but does not display the manual, it just keeps running or loading a blank page.

It sounds like your PDF reader is simply having problems.

i went into the start menu using windows xp and tested adobe and its working fine, thanks, apparently i can not view it so i will either unistall or figure out another way. unless you have a wise suggestion.
