Gigabeat F40: Playlists vs. WPS
« on: July 26, 2007, 12:57:28 AM »
I think I'm missing something...

I've built several playlists manually using a text editor (vi) on a Linux box, uploaded them to /Playlists on the F40.  The list seems to work properly, the music plays in both sequence mode and shuffle.  But I can't seem to get the WPS to open for the songs that are playing.  I've been through the PDF version of the manual, but haven't spotted what I'm doing wrong or neglecting to do.

The WPS comes up immediately when I play from the files.  Doesn't it work with playlists?

Any help will be appreciated.

I think the A button invokes the WPS during playback. Of course you can also simply choose the "Now Playing" entry in the main menu to be taken to the WPS.
