tagging problem with musepack with current build

Hi, my previous post got locked as I forgot to mention that I experienced the problem with the official build as well.

I am really sorry if this has been covered or if i put this in the wrong place but I looked through the manual and searched the forums.

I have a Gigabeat F40 and recently installed Rockbox and it's awesome. My problem is that for all of my musepack files (.mpc), the tags don't show.

I have tried everything to get it to show up. I filled out ID3v1, ID3v2 and APEv2 but the problem remains. All my musepack files are under Untagged in Database and the info doesn't show up when I play the file.
 
I have experienced the problem using the most current official build and didn't apply any patches.

I have a few albums in musepack and I haven't experienced that.  What app do you use for tagging?  Myself I either have EAC automatically get the tags from freedb or have foobar do it and I've never had that happen.

I presume that you have done either an 'Update now' or an 'Initialise now' since loading the tracks onto your player?

Looks like you should delete all tags except ApeV2 and try again

bascule, I think you were right, I tried deleting everything except the apev2 tags on a few tracks and they finally showed up in the database. It's strange because I swore I tried what you suggested before and the tags weren't showing up, oh well.
