Re-enabling DRM [H300] [rock box will have to be removed unfortunately!]

Recently I directly approached The iriver Support Team about Rock Box.
They said that those steps should work.

Actually it does involve re-flashing firmware. The link below takes you to Microsoft's security component upgrade Center.

When I went there the upgrade button was grayed out.
so I asked them how to fix that and this is how they responded...
"Please run the firmware updater first and when it asks to connect the device, connect it. If that doesn't work, please try connecting the device first and then running the firmware updater. Also, try restarting your computer. Try to connect and disconnect again and play around with it."
This seems to imply that it involves flashing the unit
so any thoughts?

The H300's firmware is updated by copying a file to the device, then choosing to update from within the device itself, not by way of a firmware update utility.

Apparently that's what they're talking about the internal firmware update option. They're not being very clear so I've asked for step-by-step instructions starting with going to http://drmlicense.one.mic.../Indivsite/en/indivit.asp
