« on: July 23, 2007, 02:34:15 PM »
Hi,
I recently upgraded my Ipod 30gig 5g to the latest rockbox build,
it boots up fine, i am able to browse folders untill i choose to load up a song
i get this error message

"Data Abort
at 0002FE88"

in the top left of screen.

Any help would be appreciated thanks,
Rich

When did you install or last update your bootloader?

I asked about the bootloader, not the build. Please run the bootloader installation instructions from the manual (updating it is the same as installing it).

Also please read our forum guidelines. We ask that you not double post, but instead edit your previous post if nobody has yet responded to you.

Ok, apologies for the double-post. I searched for a downloadable version of the bootloader, however all i got was some corporate looking website that was no help (just a never-ending circle of links).
Many thanks for your time

As I said previously, the instructions are in the manual. Please simply follow them, there is no need to search for something.

This isn't the same problem this thread is talking about. Please either post to a thread which is, or start a new thread.
