voice menus... I dont get it... (newbie)

hi, I am still new to rockbox and now that I got all my music on my player showing up I would like to know what exactly are voice menus?
do I talk into the microphone to select file? I just dont get it ???

Using PMs to annoy devs about bugs/patches is not a good way to have the issue looked at.
