Mpegplayer.......
PaulJam:
On slower players it also helps to encode the video with lots of B-frames. This doesn't speed up decoding, but it improves the framedropping and the video plays smoother.

ok I use Total Video Converter, changed size to 320x240, still does it. Lowered frame rate to 30 fps, still same problem, That and the audio is ahead of the video on some of them. Tried limit fps and skip frames in mpegplayer same problem, lol. As far as a player, the only one for rockbox that I know of is mpegplayer.

I'm guessing you have a video ipod. If so, then mpegplayer can't decode videos at 30fps, that's why the video is much slower than the audio. You will get much better results using Apple's firmware for videos on the video ipod.
All this is documented at http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/PluginMpegplayer

Good guess!!!! Can I use apples video firmware with rockbox? I'm guessing no. Either way I'm sticking with rockbox.

Yes, you can boot into the Apple firmware. Instructions are in the Manual
