iPod reset procedure (was: My new yesterday bought Ipod video 30gb,is DEAD!)
« on: July 20, 2007, 09:06:40 AM »
Hi folks,

I have a problem...
Yesterday i bought an Ipod video 30gb.
Works perfect, but is was curious 'bout the rockbox!
So i installed today, and it works!
I listen even a track on it!
Then i changed a Theme, and that works too.
After another change of a Theme,he returned to the default  Theme :S.
But i thought,''whatever'' you know,and i switched it off.

NOW i can't get my ipod on again (aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!).

I tried the thingy menu+play, and that Hold on,then off then menu+play and NOTHING worked.
I tried to connect with usb, dead.
I tried to give 'm more power with a usb,to wall-power converter,DEAD!(ya know what is mean)

I very sad with this problem man,i bought it yesterday!

I hope anybody can help!!!!
Greetings

Hi,

try pressing MENU + SELECT instead of MENU +PLAY.

Charge it for a while, and then try again.  Unless there is a hardware problem. the Menu+Select reset sequence will always work.
