WPS on 80GB iPod

Hi folks.  I'm trying to customize the WPS on my 80GB iPod.  Here's the current work-in-progress...



It's cobbled together from the jBlackGlass and FrostBox themes. This is nearly the way I want it, but I'm having problems with a couple of things.  I searched the forums for answers but wasn't successful...

(1)  Currently, the artist, title, and album are displayed to the right of the album art, but I'd like to set it up so that they're centered in the screen when no album art is present.  In my former life as an iRiver H320 owner, this is what worked on that player...

 Â %s%?C%?ia
 Â %s%?C%?ia
 Â %s%m|4|216|%?C%id

...but the iPod doesn't seem to understand this.

(2)  I'd like the album art to center itself in the alotted space when one of its dimensions is less than 100 pixels.  On the old player, it went something like this...

 Â %Cl|7|35|sc100|sb100|

...or...

 Â %Cl|7|35|sc100|sc100|

...but it's not working on the iPod.  Of course, this feature isn't essential, but it would just look nicer.  Am I doing something wrong, or is there a patch for this that I need?

As far as centering the album art what you have looks like it should work in theory.  Since all my album art is 100X100 anyway I have no way of knowing.  Great looking theme though.

Thanks, tdtooke, for the advice on problem #1 (and for the compliment!). :D Unfortunately, that code didn't seem to work either (the fields didn't show up on the WPS at all). However, I finally did make it work by revamping someone else's code (it was from ZenPod V2 in the iAudio X5 gallery).  Here's what worked, in case it helps anyone in the future...

As for problem #2 -- yeah, most of my art is 100x100 too, but because of box sets and things like that, I have some art with odd dimensions (like 52x100, for example). It always looked pretty sharp on my iRiver when those would center themselves (whether vertically or horizontally) within the space for the album art.  Right now, though, it either gets pushed over to the right or down to the bottom.  Sounds like you think my code looks ok, so there must be something else going on.  Anyone else have any ideas? Thanks...
