ID3 Tags?
« on: July 18, 2007, 03:16:17 AM »
When a song is being played I noticed there is an option that allows one to view all the ID3 tagged info of the playing file. Is there a way to edit the ID3 tags from within rock box?

No there isn't.

There is already a feature request for it - http://www.rockbox.org/tracker/task/5749

Alright, thanks for the answer, I just couldent find any info about it, and was wondering if it was possible, or if I was just missing something in the manual/wiki.

Been quite a few times where a song ive loaded to it doesnt show up as accepected in the database due to incomplete ID3 info and I dont always like plugging the player back into my PC to edit it.

I will be looking forward to if/when this feature will be implemented. It will be quite usefull.
