WMA files not played? (was: WAV files not played?)

.. i just found out that my ipod nano 1st gen 2GB and my ipod video 5.5gen 30GB was skipping all my music in .wav files?, is this normal?, thanks in advance  ???

...ok i just made a short search.. it can't play .wma files.. sorry i made a mistake, i was having problem playing wma files and not wav.  :-*

Then you should tell me about your files.  How did you make them, what encoder, etc.

Edit:  and of course, what bitrate.

thanks for the quick reply.. it's working now after i update the firmware on my nano  ;D, but i'm getting an "incompatible version" prompt on my ipod video 30G 5.5 gen  ???

ok.. i got it.. i just mixed up the nano and my ipod video firmware update.. stupid me.. thanks guys ;)

Plain WMA files should now play fine.
WMA Pro files aren't currently supported.
WMA files wrapped with DRM are unlikely to ever be supported.
