Noob needs help...

Long story short. I've got an 80 gig ipod. My Rockbox works. I downloaded a theme. I cant get the theme to show my album covers or show the "Mediaplayer10" look. What am I doing wrong.

The first thing you're doing wrong is ignoring posting guidelines. This is not an installation question, and your subject doesn't indicate your problem.

The second thing you're doing wrong is that the theme requires a patched build, so you should be asking for help with it in the thread of whatever build you're running. If you're not running a patched build, then that's your problem.

First of all, I read the original reply to my post. Second I could not reply to the person responding to my post. Third of all, I went to GENERAL DISCUSSION area. Sorry that I'm not as cool as you, with the whole forum situation. All I'm trying to do is find some help. Becuase obviously I'm doing something wrong. Because of this I thought I would try to receive a responce from someone with more experience than me. So rather than shooting down. CAN YOU HELP

Considering the fact that you seem both unwilling to follow the rules, and unwilling to read the posting guidelines, why exactly should you be helped further? I told you that you need an patched build to use that theme. Those are also called 'unsupported' builds and questions about unsupported builds should only be asked in the specific thread for that build. There is nothing further to discuss on this. There's an unsupported builds forum. DO NOT START A NEW TOPIC THERE. Instead respond to the appropriate existing thread.

If you're not sure on this - then I advise against using a theme which requires one. Do some research before diving into using the advanced stuff.

Excuse me? Did I miss something here? You're the one posting questions twice. All I did was remind you that you posted that question already, and showed you the answer given. Let's assume for one brief moment that I am not psychic, nor do I know if someone read an reply or not. I don't think I'm passing myself off as some self-centered, egotistical little... you-know-whatsit.

Just want to add that using a descriptive title and posting in the correct forum would also help you to find the right help - it's not an arbitrarily chosen rule.

Someone who's an expert in rockbox themes questions (and maybe only skims the wps and customisation subforum) would discover such a thread much easier and could answer you there.
