where do i get doom 2 plugin

I would suggest searching the manual for "Doom" then.

it says that freedoom can be in place of doom2.wad
so i can use all the doom 2 wads on freedoom inplace of doom2?

and it doesnt really explain where to place the freedoom file

in the doom directory?
and do i rename the folder doom2?
