i've got a stupid question about mpegplayer....

Is it possible for the mpegplayer to play .divx files?

I have a toshiba gigabeat f10.

I know its probably a stupid question because i'm guessing the mpegplayer is called 'mpegplayer' because it only plays .mpg files.. but i thought i'd ask anyway.

if it doesn't, i hope its possible to convert .divx files to .mpg! ;x. i've got a few movies in the .divx file format that I'd like to be able to watch on my mp3 player.
