Backlight during plugin
« on: July 11, 2007, 07:58:25 AM »
Hi,

I was just wondering if it was possible to always have the backlight on when executing a plugin.
As in - automatically. Now I have to set the backlight to on every time I want to play a game and not be bothered with the backlight, and off again afterwards. Surely this can be done easier?

You cannot currently do this, but it is of course possible.  It just needs someone (you?) to code it.

I think some plugins are already coded to do this (MPEGPlayer for example).

As for games, how many do you play that don't need any keypresses which keeps the backlight on anyway?

@bascule:

Well none of course, but most take some thinking time (sudoku anyone) and it is annoying if the backlight drops;)
And I would code it myself if I had any clue as to how:P

Hi NaFIann:

If you don't want to compile your own. You can download one of my custom builds:

I just integrated FS#4988 into them. I know you are using a e200 target.
