Problems with mpegplayer
« on: July 13, 2007, 06:05:10 PM »
Hi. I just installed Rockbox on a Gigabeat F40. (I used to use it with my ipod photo so I'm pretty familiar with it).

I converted a bunch of videos. Out of those videos only one actually plays both the video and sound. The other videos make a noise when selected and then the sound cuts out but the video continues to play. I've tried reconverting them with every method mentioned on the mpegplayer help page.

The videos playback fine on my computer.

Has anyone had this problem or know what I could be doing wrong?

I've compared the original of the file that actually plays to one of the ones that doesn't play and their identical as far as encoding goes.

Any help is appreciated.

Well I think I've fixed my problem. I used a different program I had to convert the files. A mod can close this topic now.
