having problem with lyrics and pictures

Do you guys know how could i display the picture and lyric? I'm new and clueless in rockbox. please help.

i'm not sure i'm posting the right part of the forums. please forgive me if i am. Ok...i've installed the rockbox in my ipod. everything is working perfectly fine. however, there's one thing seems to be missing....the lyrics and albums/pictures. is there anyway i could bring it and have it work exactly like ipod's original operating system. if there is, please guide me...thanks

Lyrics, no. As for album art, you need to install a custom build with at least the albumart patch applied (bmp resize patch is useful in this case also). Here are some more info:

Lyrics : You can't - at least not from an embedded tag in the audio. You could in theory upload text files and look them if that's your thing.

Pictures: By which I assume you mean album art - you can't. At least not in an offical build of Rockbox. See the unsupported builds forum for details on how to do this if it's a feature you can't live without.

Well you could, but considering it was last updated in 2006, there's not much chance it would still compile cleanly. Plus, from the description, it was a bit of a clumsy implementation.

What was wrong with sncviewer (updated April 2007)?

Slightly OT - why is sncviewer not in flyspray as a patch?

I wonder about the same thing. I just integrated it into my custom builds- it is really nice.
