Doom installation

after looking at the manual it doesnt sai nothing abouth how to install the doom game and on the extra section i click doom plugin and on install rock doom i dont understand nothing should i stract the doom zip to the root of my player on on the rocks section of the rockbox  folder?

1) This question is about a plugin, so goes in the plugin section. The "POSTING IN THIS FORUM" post clearly says not to post here once Rockobx is running on your player.
2) The manual does say how to install the Doom wads (or rather, where to put them). See section 8.1.5
