ipod mini gen2 crash when plug to pc

i've tried the daliy builds from 070706 to 070709
but my ipod mini g2 always crash when i plug it to my computer
why?who can help me?Thx!

What have you done so far with the installation process? And have you read the manual?

If you mean that it doesn't automatically boot into disk mode and kind of freezes with the picture of a usb plug on (but backlight fades), that's a known problem that some builds have for an unknown reason sadly.
Most reports I've read are about Minis (and you can find a few in the forums already) - but I believe, it can happen on other Ipods, too.

my mini 2g freeze at the usb connection picture at does not reboot to disk mode  automatically
i've read the topics in the forums and found no solution till now
i think i will keep trying the latest daily build to find one build works well

you can also use emergency disk mode instead -- i.e. rebooting the Ipod and then entering disk mode by holding Play + Select. This is what I usually do ...
