Database update issues

For quite a while now, the database takes quite a few reboots to refresh, when new files are added, even after selecting the menu to manually update. (Auto-update doesn't help either). This is with the official Rockbox (as well as non-official).  As I update files every day, this is a real pain.

I opened a ticket already. Please take a look at it.

Please don't post simply to say "Look at my bug report." If you don't believe developers are reading bug reports, why post one?

It's just with nobody commenting on the bug report, I wondered what the issue/status was, since others experience the same thing... and just wondered if maybe I should've posted something here first (although I posted in another forum).

Bug reports belong on the tracker. Maybe provide specific information so that someone can reproduce it. But don't create additional topics that are just going to cause false results when someone searches for help on "database".
