Do you have an iWad? (Ultimate Doom, Doom II, tnt/Plutonia)

The Shareware version of Doom (doom1.wad) Doesn't support addon wads.

What kind of addon are you using? Rockdoom is very fickle about addons. If you are trying to do certain wad (namely a megawad, or a Total Conversion like the Heretic and Quake II remakes, along with many others), they don't work because...

1) Rockdoom doesn't have menu clipping. Usually, in-game sprites or the Menu picture (usually both) are too big. I heard that you can use Deutex to fix this, but I have NO idea how it works.

2) The addon drastically changes the game, using DeHacked patches. I heard Rockdoom supports DeHacked, but most addons that use DeHacked probably have graphics that conflict with the above reason.

3) As stated before, Addons can't be used with the shareware version of Doom. Check your iWad to see if it's name is doom1.wad, or if it shows up as "Shareware Doom" in the iWad selector of the Rockdoom menu (not the in-game menu. In the menu when you first start rockdoom)
