Codec Failure after update

Howdy,

I've been a rockbox user for quite a long time (since the first stable builds) and after I updated to the latest build (rockbox-h120-20070707.zip), I can't play anything.  Every mp3 reports "Codec Failure"

I've tried a few other older builds from the archive with the same result. I've searched the forums for other reports like this for the H1XX with no luck.

Anyone else have this trouble? Any pointers?

my iriver:
iHP-140 w/ 60GB drive

Hi,

make sure you have extracted all files from the rockbox.zip (not only the rockbox.iriver file). And also check if you have the latest bootloader installed (this is shown during bootup, the latest version for H1XX is Version 6).
The rockbox.iriver file was moved to the .rockbox directory some time ago and earlier bootloaders didn't look there for that file.

Thanks--that did it. The date on my bootloader was August 2005 (according to the file info).
